232  (Early Series)    A mix-up ?!!

Within Early Series numbering there are a few instances where two shapes were inadvertently assigned the same number (see for example 
Early Series 28 or 
Early Series 174.) The usual remedy was to give one of them a new number.
 Number 
232 however was somehow assigned to no fewer than three different shapes. The remedy here was to abandon 
232 altogether and give each shape its own new number; 
233,   234,  and 
 237 respectively.
Presumably not many pieces were made bearing the number 232, although the third shape below is about as common as its 237 replacement.
