WAVY or FLUTED RIMS

Pieces with rims or lips that are wavy, rippled, fluted, undulating (excluding the undulation of jug-spouts).
Where present, this is a diagnostic feature. Unlike some other decorative elements such as ribbing, or twig-handles, a wavy rim is not an 'optional extra' that may be present or absent in the same shape number. If present at all, it is present on every piece with that number.
