VASES, POTS, DEEP BOWLS.
This category covers a multitude of shapes. Not every possible shape is included, but nearly.

Baluster-shaped vases.  Outward-bulging below, with a narrowed throat and flared lip.

Conic-shaped vases.   Vases whose main body shape includes a prominent conical element.

Barrel-shaped vases (and jugs).  'Barrel' is taken to include any shape whose sides have a steady gentle outward curvature - including shapes that are somewhat taller and more slender than a true barrel.
Cylinder vases (and jugs, cigarette holders etc.) 

'Waisted cylinders'    Shapes whose sides are in the form of a concave arc,
unlike a true cylinder whose sides are straight. Narrowing to the waist.

Bulbous and globe-shaped vases and bowls.  A wide variety of shapes is encompassed here - spherical, bulb-shaped, onion-shaped etc. They grade into what could also be described as plump barrels, or baluster shapes, or squat pots - if you can't find it here try one of those categories


Flask-shaped vases     Vases with a wide or bulbous lower body,
extending upward into an elongated straight or flaring throat.

Squat pots with wide mouths.  Includes some 'jardiniere' pieces,
but generally not globe-shaped vases which have their own category.

Trough vases and Posy rings    Window boxes, logs, pansy rings, half-rings.

Very tall vases   Taller than about 24 cm.  Many of these shapes come in smaller sizes as well.
