Does this shape appear in other series?  Yes - Early Series 317 , 500 Series 510 and 'A' Series / Kerryl A28     'A' Series / Kerryl A119 is also similar according to a shape-book entry but no example is recorded.

Two sizes are recorded, with inch suffixes 8 and 10.

Made 1946.

Later Series pieces are never marked with a date, but this 8-8 vase is believed to have been made in 1946. The owner writes " My father briefly worked in a pottery in Preston shortly after coming home after the war. We think he bought it from the factory in 1946."
