Does this shape appear in other series?  No, none recorded although there is some resemblance to a shape in the Alphabet Series with animal decoration; Shape 'I'.
There is a jug version of this vase, Early Series 40.

: This Early Series number was assigned twice, first to a PPP shape and, after PPP was discontinued in 1934, to a Remued shape.

39  (Early Series; PPP)   Vase with two-cone base, wide straight throat and small flare.

This shape is rare. No numbered example is recorded; it is known only from the shape-book sketch.

Does this shape appear in other series?   No (none recorded in other series) According to a shape-book annotation it is like Early Series 202 but no example of that is recorded. The 39 sketch also resembles Early Series 177
