317 (Early Series)    Ribbed baluster-shaped vases with wide wavy flaring lip.

Does this shape appear in other series?   Yes - Later Series 8 , 500 Series 510 and 'A' Series/Kerryl A28

Four size variants are recorded; s and inch suffixes 6, 8 and 10. Except for the smallest size every recorded example has a handle. For some reason the handles found on this shape exhibit more variety of style than any other shape.

       Height;  9.5 cm. Of very dainty appearance, virtually a miniature.

       Height; 18.5 - 20 cm
Extravagant looped handles such as these are occasionally found on the larger sizes.
